On the road with Actionbound: Where learning meets people

May was a big month for us! We had the chance to join two very different (and equally exciting) events: the Kirchentag in Hanover and Learntec in Karlsruhe. At first glance, they couldn’t be more different – but both showed just how versatile Actionbound can be. Here’s a quick look back!

Kirchentag, Hanover: Playing, connecting and sharing joy

Kirchentag is Germany’s largest faith- and culture-based festivals, drawing tens of thousands of people every two years to celebrate community, spirituality, and social engagement – through workshops, concerts, talks, and interactive activities.

Our focus? Bringing people together through play and discovery. Visitors at our booth jumped straight into the fun with Bounds they could play live on-site – solo or in teams. It was such a joy to watch! People solved puzzles, explored new stories, and laughed together. That’s the magic of Actionbound: learning as a joyful, shared experience. A personal highlight was seeing our collaborative project with Diakonie Niedersachsen in action. The Bound Lila Faden takes players on a journey through historic sites in Hanover, showing how local history and digital education can come together in powerful, interactive ways. And of course, it was a pleasure to connect with longtime Actionbound users. Your stories, ideas, and kind words always remind us why we do what we do – and push us to keep making Actionbound better.

Learntec, Karlsruhe: Professional exchange, Rebranding Sneak Peek, and a packed Main Stage

Learntec is one of Europe’s leading trade fair for digital learning – bringing together professionals from corporate training, higher education, and EdTech to explore the future of learning and technology.

Here, it was all about conversations and collaboration. We had insightful exchanges with existing customers, met lots of new faces, and dug into the big question: How can learning be more interactive, emotional, and impactful? That’s exactly what we’re working on – and it was great to see how much that resonates. We also gave visitors a first sneak peek of our upcoming Rebranding. The reactions? So much positive energy which makes us beyond excited to show you what’s coming soon!

And yes – we hit the Main Stage! With our talk Learning that sticks – How emotions and experiences anchor knowledge, we filled (almost) every seat. The response was overwhelming, confirming what we truly believe: learning that connects on an emotional level isn’t just more memorable – it’s more meaningful.
