Nassaupark Oost Bovenkarspel
Interessante (Rijks)monumenten in Bovenkarspel. Deze Bound vind je in het zuidoosten van de gemeente Stede Broec. Tot deze gemeente behoren de dorpen Bovenkarspel, Grootebroek en Lutjebroek. In 1449 heeft Philips van Bourgondië Bovenkarspel en Grootebroek toestemming gegeven om een haven aan te leggen. Deze haven (de Kolk) is er nog steeds en die was in de afgelopen eeuwen van groot economisch belang voor de regio. Het ging daarbij vooral om landbouwproducten zoals bloemkolen, aardappelen, appels, peren en uien. Veel hiervan werd na te zijn geveild vervoerd naar Amsterdam.
De haven en de installaties die te maken hebben met de waterstand in de polder Het Grootslag, vormen de belangrijkste onderdelen van deze Bound.
