Environmental Education in Ethiopia

The forests in Ethiopia are increasingly plagued by droughts and deforestation. As a result, soil erosion and desertification are advancing and destroying the livelihoods of people. The Orthodox Church is fighting these developments with agroforestry, environmental education and tree nurseries. With this virtual learning tool children and adolescents have the opportunity to meet different people involved in the project and at the same time learn about what they themselves can do to protect the forests.
