Toddington Bear Hunt

Go on your very own real-life bear hunt around the brook area of the Glebe in Toddington, following the much-loved and legendary story by Michael Rosen.
You will need wellies or footwear you don't mind getting wet and muddy, and long sleeves and trousers are advised as there are stinging nettles about.
The walk covers uneven terrain and narrow pathways, so baby slings/carriers are advised. The pathways are not accessible for buggies, scooters, or wheelchairs, sadly.
Follow the virtual trail markers and watch a Makaton-signed part of the story in each location, and then try some sensory activities using the simplest of nature's many treasures. When you reach the cave, try and spot 7 rainbow bears before you scurry home to safety!
Why not bring along your own teddy to share your adventure, or even a picnic to enjoy on the Glebe?
Have fun! Thank you for looking after our beautiful green space, and for cleaning up after your dog.
