Σκοπός του παιχνιδιού είναι να κινητοποιήσει τους μαθητές του Δημοτικού, να γνωρίσουν ομαδικά μ’ ένα παιγνιώδη τρόπο τη ζωή του Ρούσου Κούνδουρου και τις αξίες που υπηρέτησε. Ο Ρούσος Κούνδουρος, ανθρωπιστής, ιδεολόγος, δημοκράτης και ήρωας της Εθνικής Αντίστασης, αγωνίσθηκε για τον Άγιο Νικόλαο, τη γενέτειρά του, με όλες του τις δυνάμεις.

Σκοπός του παιχνιδιού είναι η βιωματική γνωριμία με το νησί της Σπιναλόγκας, σε ένα αυθεντικό περιβάλλον μάθησης, μέσω της επαφής των μαθητών με τα μνημεία της βυζαντινής και ενετικής εποχής, της Τουρκοκρατίας και του Λεπροκομείου, με τα μνημεία που χάθηκαν ή άλλαξε η χρήση τους και η ενθάρρυνσή τους για τη διάσωση, προστασία και ανάδειξη της τοπικής, της ιστορικής και πολιτιστικής ταυτότητας.
