This is an example set of short excursions through the environs around Bangor University, constructed as a demonstration for North Wales Wildlife Trust.

A short circular walk through the original village of Cefn Coch (the predecessor of Penrhyndeudraeth), skirting through the woodlands.

A circular forest walk of almost 5 miles, leading to a stunning viewpoint and visiting three lakes. The walk starts and ends from a car park on a minor road near Tan-y-Bwlch, Gwynedd, North Wales.

Welcome to Southampton! This quest takes you around many of the lesser known but equally fascinating features all within a short radius of the city centre. We look at stuff that's sometimes historical, sometimes contemporary, sometimes serious and sometimes off-beat. You'll certainly find plenty of curiosities and solve a good many brain-teasing puzzles.

Explores the hidden mysteries of the lower River Itchen. This hunt starts and ends in Riverside Park, Bitterne, near the "Bitterne Triangle". It heads upstream towards Swaythling, crosses the river at Mansbridge, and returns to the park again by way of South Stoneham and Woodmill.
